Emilio Verdugo Del Coto is a seasoned operations and design expert with extensive international experience in the adventure and leisure park industry. Currently serving as the Operations Manager for Circuit X in Abu Dhabi, Emilio is responsible for the seamless operation of multiple park experiences—including high ropes, skateboarding, BMX, and water parks. His role spans customer service, ticketing, safety management, technical maintenance, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance. Emilio also leads comprehensive health and safety initiatives, ensuring all operators are rigorously trained in equipment use, safety protocols, and emergency rescue procedures.

Beyond his technical expertise, Emilio has a deep passion for climbing and a natural talent for teaching others. He believes in sharing his love for adventure and climbing, inspiring both customers and colleagues alike through hands-on training and mentorship. His commitment to safety and education has been pivotal in fostering an environment where both staff and park visitors feel confident and empowered.

Before joining Circuit X, Emilio was a key member of the design and build team of Aventura Parks, Dubai, and later joined as Operations Manager at Aventura Parks in Dubai, ensuring smooth and safe operations across all aspects of the parks. Prior to moving to Dubai, his career in Spain with Aventura Amazonia spanned 12 years, where he progressed from Instructore to Supervisor, to Operations Manager, and laid the foundation for his expertise in creating engaging and secure adventure experiences. Additionally, his IRATA Level 2 certification underscores his professional commitment to excellence in climbing and operational safety.
